Toronto Raptors center

TSN’s Josh Lewenberg reported that Ibaka had not practiced and that “(Nick) Nurse wants him to get a practice in before he returns.” In just eight games prior to his injury, Ibaka served 22.9 minutes per game, scoring 14 PPG and recording 6.5 RPG. A member of the 2019 championship team, Ibaka has played a pivotal role since the departure of NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard.

Serge Ibaka will travel with the team to Atlanta ahead of their clash against the Hawks on Saturday but is not expected to play, according to head coach Nick Nurse.

The 30-year-old center suffered a right high ankle sprain on Nov. 8 against the Pelicans and has missed the last six games toronto escorts. He has, however, returned to the court outside of practice and was shown shooting a mid-range jumper in a video shared by Sportsnet’s Nikki Reyes on Twitter.

With Nurse adding that his return Saturday is “improbable,” it is more likely for his comeback to be on Nov. 25 against the Philadelphia 76ers in Toronto.
